About this work
Soup tureen of earthenware. The oval tureen with arched walls and a low wavy foot is decorated with two bouquets, one composed of a purple tulip, a purple rose, and a sprig of blue and yellow flowers with green leaves, and the other of a rose, two asters, and a sprig of yellow and blue flowers. In the longitudinal axis in rocaille, two ears with purplish leaves. The glaze is somewhat chalky. No marks.
