About this work

Lid of a soup tureen of earthenware. The arched and wavy lid is decorated with two bouquets, one composed of a purple tulip, a purple rose, and a sprig of blue and yellow flowers with green leaves, and the other of a rose, two asters, and a sprig of yellow and blue flowers. The lid is crowned by a purple and yellow fruit on a stem with light green leaves. The glaze is somewhat chalky. No marks.
