About this work

Veil of natural-colored lace embroidery: tulle cutwork. Rectangular model, bounded on four sides by deep, wide scallops. The pattern has a flower and leaf volute in each scallop. The volutes are built up from two feathered lance leaves, a large flower and a branch with a row of leaves on the inside and a row of flowers on the outside. The central field is unadorned.
