Parasol with cover of needle lace, point de gaze de Bruxelles. The eight sectors of the parasol cover are bounded by a symmetrical rocaille frame and are filled with a bouquet of carnations, alternated by a bouquet of roses. On the ribs are small reserves with mesh filling as nodes of pointed arches in the sector. Downwards the frame rounds off and has in the middle a leaf-shaped closure. From here below comes a second shell, filled with roses and forget-me-nots. These shells are connected by smaller ones. The lining and a pleated strip are of white crêpe georgette. A white wooden stick has as handle a conical golden knob, entirely smooth and round-ended, in which four rows of pearls and diamonds increasing in size are set. The latter are cut as brilliants to a high stone with a small table. The point shows a similar, but reduced form. At the ends of the ribs are golden knobs with a diamond.
