About this work
Cap slip of natural-colored Brussels bobbin lace. A rivière with a lattice ground is crossed by a branched twig with flowers and lanceolate leaves, while on the fields with a fine mesh netting always one small twig grows with a flower, the open heart of which is pear-shaped. The shells are flat and display many medallions filled with lattice work. By mistake, a Mechelen cap slip (BK-BR-J-175-B) was attached to a matching Brussels cap slip (BK-BR-J-175-A), while the here described, matching second Brussels cap slip (BK-BR-J-177) remained separate.
