About this work
Collar of natural-coloured bobbin lace: Flemish guipure. The narrow round, flat shawl collar has a plaited ground, on which a symmetrical pattern of a fleur de lys, from which spiral vines proceed with thick palmette flowers and multi-lobed leaves.
