About this work
Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace: duchesse lace. On an open mesh ground a running pattern, which is more closed along the scalloped outer edge than along the inner edge. A thin wavy vine stands in the middle and is decorated among others with three pointed oval leaves and with an applied inner leaflet. Together with three blossoms and an anemone two leaves form the unequal scallops.
