About this work

Prayer cloth of natural-colored mixed lace: Venetian ribbon lace. U-shaped model. On a hexagonal mesh ground with picots, stands in the lying part an asymmetrical spiral vine. The diagonal vine, which begins in the lower corners of the standing parts, goes over into a spiral vine. The left leg of the U is symmetrical with respect to the right. Flowers and arabesque leaves are as it were strung on these vines. The flowers are in the shape of a palmette, a pomegranate and a rosette. Straight finish with alternately large and small triangles.
