About this work
Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace, possibly Flemish guipure. Symmetrical pattern with volutes from which three-, four- and five-petaled flowers spring. Around the motifs various braided spool grounds with picots. Inside the motifs a honeycomb ground. The top is finished with a straight edge. The bottom is finished with triangles built up from arches.
