About this work

Panel of natural-colored bobbin lace, possibly Flemish guipure. A repeating pattern with volutes from which three-, four- and five-petaled flowers emerge. Around the motifs a braided spool ground with picots. Inside the motifs a honeycomb ground. Top and bottom finished with triangles built up from arches.
