About this work

Japanese decoration of natural-colored applied lace, bobbin lace applied on machine-made net. A rectangular piece of net is finished on the two short sides with flat shells. On the short axis stands an almost symmetrical wavy branch with three bunches of mimosa sprigs and broadly spreading side branches with feathered leaves. The branch begins with a bow above a lying C-scroll.
