About this work
Flounce of natural-colored appliqué lace, bobbin lace with some details in needle lace applied on machine-made tulle. A ground empty along the inner side becomes increasingly filled towards the scallop edge. It is a running pattern of some twigs and openwork flower baskets (needle lace), of which the handle is very high and decorated with a bow with fluttering tails. Large and small scallops with small and large roses form the scallops, from which a stiff twig rises and an s-shaped curved twig, springing from an openwork c-volute.
