About this work

Skirt strip of natural-coloured appliqué lace, needle lace applied to machine-made tulle. A border of round shells is formed by a continuous row of large flowers which, to the right, hang from small flower sprigs. Above this runs a narrow border of a wavy branch with smaller similar flowers. The upper part consists of a ground of unadorned tulle. Two narrower strips have the same, and a reduced pattern.
