About this work

A wavy branch with feathered leaves and three star-shaped flowers grows from right to left. One of the flowers is directed outwards and forms a small intermediate shell between larger ones, which are built like a gilded arch or a piped collar with an open lattice filling (needle lace). As an ending of the fine mesh ground (square meshes), a fine border of palmettes runs along the inside, applied as a border head. Brabantine Valenciennes lace.
