About this work

Berthe of natural-colored needle lace: Burano lace or flat Venetian net ground lace. A wide-bell model shows a running pattern of widely spaced, irregularly running scrolls with leaves, flowers in the shape of a fan, a pomegranate, etc. The relief is of uniform width everywhere and shows no picots.
