About this work
Strip of natural-colored mixed lace: Brussels bobbin lace in combination with a needle lace ground, a fine mesh lace ground. This type of lace is also known under the name: point d'Angleterre. The running pattern is sparse in design and consists of interlocking c- and s-volutes. Large roses, en face and en profil, form deep scallops with a leaf and a c-volute. Fine leaf twigs are turned towards the inside.
