About this work
Strip Natural-Colored Bobbin Lace: Mechelen Lace. Under a Scatter Pattern of 'Daisies' Stands a Row of One-Sidedly Directed Flower Branches and Thereunder Again Larger, Hanging Flower Branches, Which Fill the Scallops. The Motifs Are Made in Linen Stitch and Provided with Thicker and Shiny Contour Threads. The Motifs Are Connected to Each Other by a Fine Mesh Ground, a Mechelen Ground. The Scalloped Border Is Finished with Picots. The Top Side of the Strip Is Finished Straight.
