About this work

Jug of stoneware on a high foot with an egg-shaped body and a tapering neck. The C-shaped handle is attached to the neck and shoulder. A wide band with incised lines on the neck, some on the foot. Partially covered with cobalt blue. On the belly three times a printed and applied medallion with a coat of arms surrounded by leaf vines and the date '1662'. Westerwald.
