Jug with a portrait and lions

Stoneware jug on a stand with a globular belly and narrow neck. The C-shaped handle is attached to the neck and shoulder. Profiles on the neck. Partially covered with cobalt blue. On the shoulder an incised line with above it a band with stamped half-circles with flower against a blue background. The belly with three embossed and applied medallions in relief, the middle one flanked by crowned lions. In the medallions a portrait with the border inscription 'ICH.BRINS.DER.HERS.LEBSTEN.VM.I.FRVNTLICHEN.KVS.1672'. Westerwald.
