About this work
Earthenware plate decorated in blue on a white ground. The rim is divided into eight sections containing flowers, separated by eight smaller sections each containing nine dots, inspired by Kraak porcelain. The center features flower and leaf motifs in two circles. A peacock is visible in the center. The rim is decorated on the back with star and circle motifs.
