About this work

Cotton christening gown of natural-coloured machine lace. Square model, with a geometric pattern of squares and diamonds in the centre. Running around the central field is a wide border with acanthus leaves stretched into scrolls. The gown is finished with a regularly wavy shell border, with always one half rosette flower with two leaves in a shell.
