About this work

Fragment of a stoneware jug on a ring foot with a globular body. Neck and handle are missing. Profiles on the foot. Partially covered with cobalt blue. On the belly in relief twice a printed and applied crowned coat of arms of Spain with the inscription 'The Coat of Arms of High Spain Anno 1591 (1596?)'. The coats of arms are surrounded by engraved vines with stamped flowers. Raeren.
