About this work

Jug of stoneware on a high foot with an egg-shaped body and wide neck. The C-shaped handle is attached to the neck and shoulder. Profiles on the neck and foot. Covered with a brown engobe. On the neck in relief a printed and applied band with portraits and faces in medallions. The portraits are of a man and a woman, arranged two by two with the faces towards each other. Attached to the handle and rim a tin mount with lid. Raeren.
