Jug with a lion's head and medallions

Jug of stoneware on a high foot with a narrow neck, egg-shaped body and a pinched spout in the rim. The C-shaped handle is attached to the neck and shoulder. Partially covered with cobalt blue. On the foot and neck several profiles. The jug is decorated with a relief decoration in which the body is largely covered with printed, applied medallions with a flower rosette against a blue background. On the neck under the spout a modeled lion's head is attached. Westerwald.
