Jug with a mask and medallions

Stoneware jug on a high foot with an egg-shaped body and a narrow neck with a pinched spout. The C-shaped handle is attached to the neck and shoulder. Profiles on the neck and foot. Partially covered in glaze with cobalt blue. The jug is decorated with a relief decoration in which the belly is largely covered with printed, applied medallions with a flower rosette against a blue background. Under the spout on the neck, a modeled mask has been applied. Westerwald.
