About this work
Rectangular mirror in a finely profiled tortoiseshell frame; manufactured from an oak framework, upon which the five-part profiled tortoiseshell frames are mounted on (probably) light yellow colored paper. In the frame the original, heavily corroded mirror glass with cut facet edges. The mirror hangs on an original copper (double right-angled bent) eye, fixed with three nails to the wood.
