Round lead plaque. On the right, Apollo with the bow in his left hand, his right arm outstretched toward the fleeing nymph, who, to escape his pursuit, is transformed by her father, the river god, into a laurel tree. In the sky, the archer Cupid. Apollo in classical costume, Daphne draped in fluttering drapery. Broken tree trunks and rocks; in the foreground various plants.
