About this work

Armchair, upholstered, of lacquered beechwood. The diagonally placed S-shaped legs, ending in an acanthus leaf, merge into the carved front seat rails. The trapezoidal seat frame is slightly curved at the front and arched at the sides. The armrests slope outward, have cushions and end in volutes. The supports merge S-shaped into the armrests. The supported back frame has slightly curved stiles and rails. Profile strips with small volutes follow the chair's contour.
