A devant-de-gorge or triangular breastpiece of silver tulle, with multicoloured embroidered silk flower appliqués and bows of gold leaf, edged all around with silver lace. Model: long triangle ending in a heart-shaped ornament. The outline is marked by a parchment border wrapped in gold leaf. Lined with cream-coloured silk and provided with six black metal press studs. Decoration: at each corner a small rosette-shaped bow of parchment wrapped in gold leaf. The decoration in the centre is built up symmetrically with at the top a rosette-shaped bow of parchment with gold leaf with on either side a flower appliqué of red silk. Below two clover-three-like ornaments of blue silk wrapped in silver cannetille. Further two rosette-shaped bows of gold leaf. Below two appliqués of apples in yellow/orange/white silk on either side of a silver bow and at the bottom a flower appliqué of light and dark blue silk with silver thread between fleurs-de-lys-like shapes of gold leaf on parchment.
