Triangular Bodice of Light Green Silk, Decorated with Silver Gauze with Flower Appliques of Multicoloured Chenille

Triangular bodice of light green satin lined with natural linen. Front decorated with a mesh-like weave of silver thread in flat weave with appliques in orange, pink, white and yellow chenille (flowers) with green chenille leaves. Decoration: at the top center an applique of a flower in orange, pink, cream, blue and green silk and silver thread in cutwork. The flower has a brown-beige stem and green, beige, blue with pink, silver and light and dark green leaves. On either side of the flowers bows of strips of paper wrapped with silver thread around a silk core. Below the flower applique a V-shaped ornament of loosely woven band of silver thread around a silk core (2 cm wide). Below this a symmetrically constructed ornament with bows in the center and floral chenille appliques on either side. The bodice ends in a heart-shaped point with pink and green chenille. The yellow is edged with a border of thick paper (0.5 cm) wrapped with silver thread with a silk core and a silver fringe.
