About this work

Armchair of light brown lacquered beechwood, resting on S-shaped legs placed diagonally. The trapezoidal seat frame and the back, curved from above, are made of woven rush. The hollowed armrests curve outward, end in volutes, and rest on rearward-placed S-shaped supports. The armrests, armrest supports, scalloped seat rails, front legs, and the top rail of the back are decorated with a carved leaf ornament.
