About this work
Strip of natural-colored needle lace. Pattern with densely packed volutes and palmettes, without ground. The work consists of thick contour threads laid spirally, connections made by twisted festoon stitches in one round-height. The top and bottom edges are finished with a straight edge, however at the lower side hang very small stalks or points. The short sides are stitched to prevent fraying.
