About this work

Parts of a wood paneling of grey painted with gold beechwood. The door with frame and dessus-de-porte consists of two fields; the upper one has scalloped cornices and a division, provided with glass panes. The frame follows the contour of the scalloped upper lintel of the door at the top and shows a punched border. The dessus-de-porte with punched frame has a scalloped cornice and S-shaped stiles; the decoration consists of rocaille motifs, C-scrolls and stylized palmettes. See: BK-NM-13223-a/d.
