About this work

Parts of a paneling in grey and gold-painted beechwood, consisting of a frame with dessus-de-porte. The dessus-de-porte with carved frames has a carved lintel and straight S-shaped stiles. The frame is decorated with large C-scrolls, rocaille motifs, and in the center of the lower and upper lintels with stylized palmettes. See for the doors: BK-NM-13223-a/b and for the second frame: BK-NM-13223-c. The frames probably functioned as window frames.
