About this work

Parts of a paneling in grey and gold-painted beechwood. The door with frame and dessus-de-porte consists of two panels; the upper one has carved lintels and a division with glazed panes. The frame follows the contour of the carved upper lintel of the door at the top and features a carved border. The dessus-de-porte with a carved frame has a carved lintel and S-shaped stiles; the decoration consists of rocaille motifs, C-scrolls, and stylized palmettes. See: BK-NM-13223-a/d.
