About this work

Cap with cap lappets of natural-colored needle lace: Alençon lace. The pattern has on the cap body a pointed oval medallion formed by two floral swags, which twist around each other and from which flower branches sprout. In the medallion stands a symmetrical flower branch surrounded by some filler flowers. The lappets have along the edge the same double floral swag and filler flowers. Fine hexagonal mesh ground.
