About this work

Porcelain cup with a cylindrical wall and C-shaped handle, painted in underglaze blue and on the glaze in blue, pink, green, yellow, black, and gold. The outer wall with a broad band of wildflowers interrupted by a medallion with the letter H under a laurel wreath. Below and above, a decorative band with a black leaf vine against a green background, a gold band with dots on underglaze blue, and a floral vine. The handle with a modeled palmette and gold. Marked on the underside with the double L with year letters KK and Y, above which a crown with a cross, the number 111C and DC.
