About this work

Porcelain cup with a cylindrical wall and C-shaped handle, painted on the glaze in reddish-brown and gold. The outer wall is covered with an imitation wood background, in which a medallion with the inscription 'A LA PLUS BELLE' is cut out. On either side of this an arrow and bow and a quiver. At the top a decorative band. Gold bands above the foot and on the rim.
