About this work

Strip of Ecru-Colored Needle Lace with a Repeating Pattern of Scattered Short Flower Branches on a Fine Hexagonal Mesh Ground. The Top is Edged with a Border of Bobbin Lace. A Wavy Line from Which Leaves Spring Forms the Boundary Between the Mesh Ground and the Scalloped Bottom Edge. The Bottom of the Strip Consists of a Wavy Line from Which Leaves Spring and a Scalloped Bottom Edge. The Waves are Filled with Various Mesh Grounds, Decorated with Among Others Wheel Picots. Alençon Lace.
