About this work
Teapot of painted porcelain, with a partially gilded mask under the spout. The handle extends on both sides into partially gilded leaves. On both sides of the body, Höroldt chinoiserie are painted within cartouches with indented corners. Between the cartouches, insects and butterflies are painted. The lid, handle, and spout are decorated with Indian flowers. The teapot is marked.
