The repeating pattern consists of three rows of flower branches with always one bud between the flower branches in the top two rows. The successive flower branches in the top row consist of one flower with two leaves. In the middle row always three flowers hang on the flower branches. The bottom flower branches are the largest with three flowers and a flower bud in the top. Along the lower edge lie w-shaped motifs between which circles are made with an ornamental ground, a machine rose ground. The motifs are provided with contour threads and are connected to each other by a hexagonal mesh ground, a machine Alençon ground. The upper side of the strip is finished straight. The slightly scalloped underside comes from the pattern with the w-shaped motifs and circles and is finished with picots.
