About this work

Necktie slip of natural-colored mixed bobbin lace - bobbin lace in combination with needle lace - Brussels duchesse. In the center a flower set in two different borders with around it a wreath of eleven flowers from which five leafy branches sprout. With a coarse mesh this whole is caught in five volutes, which on the sides and bottom are surrounded by a floral motif. The motifs are provided with relief contours.
