About this work

Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace: Eastern European lace. Rectangular model where a curve has been cut out and with a slanted edge, possibly a panel of a garment. The pattern consists of ribbons in openwork linen stitch, which are bobbin-laced with curves in all kinds of fantasy shapes. The motifs are connected to each other by a network of overlapping pairs, through which a continuous and looped band moves, as with occhiolini. The edges are not finished.
