About this work
Doily of lace embroidery: Lier lace (machine-made tulle with tambour work). Round model. In the center of the doily two C-scrolls together form a large C-shape. Halfway around the curve stands a flower and from the C-shape curling side branches, some leaves and stems with flowers emerge. Along the edge of the doily a flower border is made. In the tulle between the flower border and the C-shape stand some flower motifs. The edge of the doily is finished with fine picots.
