About this work
Cushion cover of natural-coloured lace embroidery: tulle cutwork on machine-made tulle. Oval model. The cushion cover has an empty middle oval with a narrow strip of arches in cutwork attached to it. A wide border around this middle field consists of machine-made tulle on which in cutwork a regularly wavy rose branch is embroidered with oval flowers and rosebuds between leaves. In the flower hearts various machine-made ornamental grounds are applied. Around the cushion cover is finished with a border of machine-made lace with roses (imitation bobbin lace).
