About this work

Insert of natural bobbin lace: collar lace. The repeating pattern consists of a row of linked diamonds. The diamonds have alternating contours in linen stitch and net stitch and different decorative grounds as filling. The contours in linen stitch are interrupted at the corners and parallel to each side stand three lines in linen stitch. These lines fill the fields between the diamonds. Top and bottom of the strip are finished straight.
