Cuff of applied lace with round cartouches

Cuff of natural-colored applied lace: batiste applied on machine-made tulle. The repeating pattern consists along the lower edge of two C-scrolls forming a more or less round cartouche. In each cartouche is a three-leaf motif. The cartouches are connected to each other by one pair of scrolls of openwork circles. Above this is a scatter pattern of mosses and small flowers or leaves. The upper side is finished with a hem. The scalloped edge at the bottom runs through both short sides and is finished with picots. The cuff can be closed by means of two hooks.
