Strip of bobbin lace with three different flower sprigs

Strip of natural-colored Brussels bobbin lace. The pattern consists of rosette flowers and three different bending flower branches and on both cut short sides fragments of a flower branch. The motifs are connected by a fine mesh ground, a droschel ground. The motifs are made in net stitch and linen stitch with openwork edges and cutouts. Most motifs have cutwork relief contours. Various decorative grounds are applied, especially in fields along the bottom edge, including snowflake grounds and a shoelace stitch trellis ground decorated with squares made in form stitch. The top edge is finished with a separate cutwork band. The scalloped bottom edge is finished with picots.
