Jug with floral scrolls

Stoneware jug on a high foot with a globular body and a narrow, long neck with a pinched spout. The C-shaped handle is attached to the neck and shoulder. A profile on the neck and some incised lines on the foot. Partially covered in cobalt blue and manganese purple. The front of the jug features two compartments with a flowering plant consisting of incised vines cut out in a purple background. The flowers are pressed, applied, and colored blue. Westerwald.
