About this work
Chair of walnut. The furniture has an upholstered seat and baluster-shaped front legs with a tassel-shaped thickening of the upper part. The front rail has openwork broken S-scrolls with acanthus leaves on either side of a shell. The high, openwork and carved back rests on twisted supports and has jointed free-standing corner posts. The upper and lower rails are shaped and show broken scrolls, shell motifs and acanthus leaves. Inside the frame a shell motif, acanthus leaf and strapwork. The upholstery is new.
